In a school playground, a child tells his friends about an adventure that happened during the holidays. Gédéon, a former Customs sergeant, had taken him and two friends for a walk in the mountains. A film company was filming a battle scene with bandits.
Gédéon and the children got involved in the battle and mistook the extras for real bandits. In a panic, they wander up the mountain and get lost, only to be reunited with the film-makers after a thousand adventures. Gideon and the children still haven’t understood their mistake and think they’ve had an exceptional adventure. The child ends by presenting Gédéon as a hero.
