It is also a land of Christianity, where Joan of Arc rose to fame and where the remains of Saint Martin and Saint Benedict remain. But above all, it’s a land of châteaux, medieval fortresses and splendid Renaissance mansions. It is also a land of traditions, where hunting with hounds is still practised today.
