A police inspector on the lookout for criminals mistakes the sword-wielding Academicians for assassins. One of them explains that it’s an unfortunate misunderstanding and that, if crimes were committed, it was at the time when the famous Tour de Nesles stood on the site of the Institut. The reassured inspector can now close the case.
