This film was made in parallel with the “Holiday in Paris” series. After a brief introduction to this series aimed at American audiences, in which John Nasht talks about his passion for Paris, he introduces Marcel MARCEAU: “… a mime is an artist who expresses his feelings and ideas with his face and body. He is an extremely sensitive and intelligent actor. He is known throughout Europe and South America. This is his first appearance in the United States. I invite you to watch Marcel Marceau in his pantomime of Bip”. This was followed by three sketches, set to music, by Marcel MARCEAU: “Bip le Tragédien”, “Bip et le bourdon”, “Bip à une soirée mondaine”.
