For an auction, objects from the past are found in an attic. Amidst the noise of the auction, a woman recalls her past thanks to these few objects. The possessions of the deceased Élise Grandet are scattered around the communal estate of a small, uneventful town on a Sunday afternoon. They hold within them the impalpable dust of a young girl’s childhood memories, first loves and renunciation.
